How can I borrow a library book?
Answer
How to Borrow Books from the Library
Keyano Students & Employees
If you are a Keyano student or employee, you can use your student or employee ID as your library card. If you do not have an ID card, you can use your student/employee number with a government issued ID (license, passport, etc.) number. To access and borrow digital resources, you will need "My Account" ,
A library account is automatically created for Keyano students and employees and is linked to your Keyano email. The login for your Discovery "My Account" is the same as the username and password used to sign in to your multi-factor authentication (MFA).
For more info, please see How do I sign in to multi-factor authentication?
Community members
If you are a community member, you will need a The Alberta Library (TAL) account.
The Keyano Library partners with TAL to provide limited access to print materials from our library, as well as all partner TAL libraries. TAL membership also allows access to Keyano Library online resources from the Library premises.
To enroll in a TAL membership you will be required to provide a valid government I.D. in person to the Library Information Desk.
If you need assistance, please contact the library.
