I am not a Keyano student or employee, can I still use the library and computers?

Answer

Yes, the Keyano Library welcomes all community members and provides access to its collections, services, and computers with valid government issued identification.

Keyano Library collections and databases are freely accessible on-campus and print materials can be borrowed with a TAL (The Alberta Library) card, which you can request at the Library Information Desk. A TAL card provides borrowing privileges at all TAL participating libraries across Alberta. Please note that valid government ID is required to create a TAL card.

*Please note: due to limited space, the computers are available on a first-come first-serve basis, with Keyano students and library classes having top priority.

If you would like more information about services for TAL members, please contact the Library.

TAL Online is a discovery service (catalogue) that enables Albertans to discover library resources across the province as well as place interlibrary loan requests. For more information on TAL and its services, please visit the TAL website.
